Royal Caribbean Freedom of the Seas with pre-cruise in Orlando
Family Vacation, 25 people

We had a wonderful time once the first leg of our trip, flying to Orlando, was over. The mystery dinner theater in Orlando was lots of fun.

The cruise was exceptional! These pictures are from the excursion in the Grand Caymans and from Labadee, Dunns Falls, the river tubing and a great place we found in Cozumel. The trip home was uneventable and pretty much on schedule. Our group leader on the ship set up a cocktail party for us formal night as well as getting off the ship as a group. He was very good.

We took our wine to dinner with us formal nights and toasted the beginning and end of our trip. What a wonderful gift from you. We can't thank you enough for helping our family vacation...it was a blast. Everyone had a great time and I will be sending you more pictures as they come in.

Carnival Triumph, New England and Canada Cruise

Attached are pictures from our cruise on the Carnival Triumph. We had a wonderful vacation. New York City, Boston, Portland, St. John and Halifax were all great fun. Although we did have rainy weather in Boston and Saint John, our spirits were not dampened. Of all the cities, Halifax, Nova Scotia was our favorite. It is such a beautiful city. Due to inefficient planning on our part, we did not start early enough to see everything we wanted to see. I would love to return to Halifax.

Thanks for arranging our cruise for us. We'll contact you again when we come up with another vacation plan.

Carnival Destiny Exotic Southern Caribbean

We used Memorable Travels for our honeymoon arrangements. Our consultant was very prompt with emailing us and very efficient in providing us with detailed information to assist us in our 8-day honeymoon cruise. She even gave us tips of things to bring and safe travel ideas. She kept us updated as our schedule changed (which so happened to allow us to see 2 additional islands!!). The room upgrade she recommended was the ABSOLUTE BEST decision we ever made. The balcony view was SPECTACULAR. Our cruise could not have been any better. The food was great and going to a different island everyday was fun!

At first, I was apprehensive about taking a cruise, but our consultant HIGHLY recommended it. We took her advice and we were so happy that we did! She was fantastic to work with and I will recommend her to my friends and family.

Carnival Liberty Eastern Caribbean

Thank you so much for your help thru this process, and thank you for the individualized gifts. They were truly a sweet unexpected surprise! We all had such a great time. We enjoyed the ship. We enjoyed our eating time and ate way too much but loved every minute of it. We really enjoyed eating at Harry's. I think we were there for 2 and a half hours. It was a neat dining experience. We took pictures of our food!

We did something at every port. Half Moon Cay was more of a beach day so we mainly relaxed. However, I was the only one from the group who parasailed...LOVED IT! St. Thomas was really pretty, and I think I'd like to go back. We booked a trip thru a touring group outside of Carnival called Sunny Liston. For $25 a person, you got 3 hours of shopping; a tour ride and a time at a beach of your choice. Yes, we did go to the top of the mountain and had the world famous banana daiquiri. We went to Sapphire beach. It was fine, but the bonus was the pool we happened upon located adjacent to the beach that had the beautiful beach view but without the salt and rocks!!

San Juan was a rainy day but we basically just walked around and took in the sites of Old San Juan and ate lunch at Hard Rock Cafe. Grand Turk was little bit of a disappointment. We probably should have gotten adventurous and gotten a taxi to take in the city. Because mainly everything to see is right at port with all the little shops and Margaritaville/pool. We walked out of the port and to Governor's Beach but there really wasn't anything there and not much snorkeling from the beach to be had. Overall, we had a fun time and landed hard back into reality when we returned.

Carnival Liberty Eastern Caribbean

We had a GREAT time! And thank you so much for our gifts! It was so much fun to see what was going to be delivered at each dinner from you. Half Moon Cay was a wonderful beach day - most of us snorkeled and Shawna parasailed.

St Tomas was the best. We did a non-Carnival tour with Sonny Liston for $25 per person and it was fantastic - a few hours shopping, a few hours on a driving tour and a few hours on the beach. San Juan was a rain out but I got a good cheap purse. Grand Turk was a snorkel beach/ pool day. We spent most of our time at the new cruise center with the Margaritaville. Snorkeling was not as good as I had hoped but maybe we went to the wrong place. Overall it was wonderful. Thanks again for your help with the planning and all your gifts.

We are thinking of booking a Disney cruise this year over new years for mine and my sister's family. Talk to you soon.

Carnival Victory ... Southern Caribbean Sailing
Sailing from Puerto Rico

We absolutely loved El Convento Hotel, San Juan, and would recommend it to anyone. We never ate there as the reviews of the restaurants were not good. There are plenty of other options within easy walking distance. We were a little worried about how to get from the airport to the hotel but when we walked outside there was a booth run by the airport that you told your destination. They got you a cab and gave you a form that had the zone rate on it. It was nice to know the cost before you left. With the zone system long rides were reasonable but short rides were very expensive. The ride from our hotel to the cruise ship was six blocks and $21. I would recommend going to the sister property of the hotel, La Concha. You have to get yourself there, $19 each way, but you could use their beautiful beach for free and any food/drinks you got there would be billed to your room at El Convento. I would also recommend the tour of the El Morro Fort. It was only a few block from our hotel and I think $3 each to get in. San Juan was nice but very expensive. The room next to ours was a suite and Giovanni Ribisi from Gone in 60 Seconds was staying there. He was in San Juan filming a movie called The Rum Diary with Johnny Depp. He always sat at a table just outside our room. It was weird opening your door to someone you recognize from movies.

St. Thomas We went to Magen’s Bay but I wish we went to Trunk bay at St. Johns. Magen’s Bay was very beautiful from a distance but not so much up close.

Dominica We found a guide just outside the secure area who gave us an island tour for $20 each. When we were initially hesitant he lowered the price to $15 each but we enjoyed it so much we gave him full price and tipped him.

Barbados This was probably the most reasonably priced island we went to and had one of my favorite beaches. I would highly recommend going to the Boatyard. Once you leave the cruise ship you will find a cab stand where you can get a ride to the Boatyard for $3 each. Once there for $10 each you got in, had use of the beach all day, got 2 chairs and an umbrella, 1 free drink each and a free ride back to the boat. You cannot beat this for $26 for both of you. We also ate there which was very good and not too expensive. On the return the van does not go back into the secure area and you have to re-enter on foot and walk back to the ship. It was not too bad but just so people that you tell about this will know that the walk back will be long.

St. Lucia We had initially planned on doing the Land & Sea Combo to Soufriere but it was sold out before we left San Juan. We had read many great reviews of Cosul Tours and called him from the ship on Sunday afternoon and booked a tour for Thursday. I’m sure you have read many of his reviews and the tour lived up to them. It was also cheaper than the excursion. We loved swimming at the beach between the pitons. The reviews talk about Cosul’s special rum that he brings out at the end and it did not disappoint.

Antigua This was one of the prettiest islands I have seen from sea. We did the See Antigua by Sea excursion which was a little expensive at $103 per person but was very worth it. They took you all the way around the island in a beautiful catamaran, had an excellent lunch and all you could drink after snorkeling. There was also a surprise stop at another beach near the end of the day.

St. Kitts This will probably be a nice tourist destination 20 years from now. We did the rail tour which was a waste of money. Shannon fell asleep on the train. It was mostly the tour conductor saying hello to all of the people we passed along the way.

Carnival Victory Overall we loved the vacation but I was not a huge fan of Carnival. On my previous Royal Caribbean cruises there were always plenty of quiet places with beach chairs where you could relax and read. On the Victory all of the available chairs were in the open area on deck 9 which was always playing VERY loud music. There were chairs on deck 4 but they were always stacked up and tied up. We asked one employee if we could get a chair out and he said no. We ended up asking one of the senior crew members why we could not use the chairs and she got some out for us. Interestingly enough after that the chairs were available for the last two days. The alcohol situation was interesting. At most of the ports there was a store just before the security area that sold duty free alcohol. The would let you through security with as much as you could carry in your carry on. Just inside security there was an “Alcohol Collection Stand” where they would collect your alcohol and keep it until the last day of the cruise. Oops, we always forgot to stop at the stand. One thing I did like about deck 9 was the evening movies on the huge screen. It was like a drive-in with beach chairs.

We absolutely loved the cruise! We really enjoyed the trip out to the pyramids and enjoyed our time in all of the ports. We were in the minority since it was an Italian cruise line and a few tours were cancelled because of not enough English speaking guests booking them, but the cruise line always offered us several alternative itineraries. We really enjoyed our time in Pompeii, Cyprus, Marmaris and Santorini. We'd love to spend more time in all of those areas!

We returned to Frankfort on Saturday night from our cruise. We had the most wonderful trip. Everything went according to schedule without the slightest hiccup. Thank you for the very thorough planning you did to make our vacation such a nice experience for us. Thank you also for the delicious chocolates you had delivered to our stateroom. There were chocolate covered strawberries, white chocolates and dark chocolates, all very tasty.

DISNEY CRUISE LINES ... DISNEY WONDER

We're back! We had a wonderful time. We had a great time with all of the Disney characters. Genne's grandchildren loved seeing all of them. I enjoyed the martini tasting the best. Ha Ha! It is hard to say what the best part of the trip was, however, we thoroughly enjoyed the wine in our stateroom upon arrival. Nice refreshment before joining everyone for dinner. Thank you for thinking of us. The others in our group were disappointed they did not have wine waiting for them. You are very thoughtful.

Just wanted to touch base with you on our Disney cruise. We had a WONDERFUL time!!! Thank you so much for arranging this for us. I was ready to go again as soon as we got home. We went parasailing, snorkeling and fed the stingrays. I was concerned about Sheila with the parasailing because she is afraid of heights, but she loved it and said she would like to do it again. Feeding the rays was lots of fun and you could snorkel with them and pet them. It was perfect.

Food and entertainment on the ship was excellent; we went to live performances, various classes, sat at the pool, walked around, and ate outstanding foods. The wine in the room was beautifully presented and soooooo very thoughtful of you. Thank you so much. My daughter’s mother-in-law was amazed and somewhat jealous since she had booked passage for eight, and only got a call from her travel agent saying "Have a good time". I would recommend a Disney cruise for anyone with children, especially small children. Jackson and Katelyn (my grandchildren) are 4 and had so much fun at the places provided for them that they begged NOT to have to join us for dinner, but dine with their buddies at the Oceaneer's club.

My "BACHELORETTE" cruise was wonderful. Thank you for planning such a nice vacation for my sister and me. We were delighted by the bottle of wine you sent to us. The ship was very nice. We liked our little room. It was an OK size for us. The room was in the perfect location. We were very close to all the activities and general dining hall.

We liked hanging out in the adults only pool area. The service was excellent on the ship. The tendering was new to us but we only had to wait about 30 minutes to tender once we were ready to go. It was very easy to do the land activities on our own with local tour companies. We went to Dunn River Falls in Ocho Rios. We climbed the falls, which I thought was a bit dangerous, but I thought we should give it a try. I liked the shopping area in Ocho Rios.

In Grand Cayman we went to Stingray City. That was very enjoyable. I was afraid of them at first, but they are very gentle creatures. The other guests on the boat were very friendly. We enjoyed chatting with them on our at sea days.

We truly appreciate your help in planning such an enjoyable vacation.

What a GREAT vacation! It was a week to remember and one that I know will stay with my daughters for a life time. The upgrade on the cabin was AWESOME!! I am now hooked on having a verandah on a cruise. We really enjoyed it.

Royal Caribbean Adventure of the Seas
Southern Caribbean Cruise

We all just got back Sunday night and had a great time.
I wanted to let you know that both Chris and I really appreciated some things that you did--it made things a lot easier. For example, the pre-paid travel vouchers to and from the airport, and the pre-paid tips were very helpful. In addition, since we flew USAir home, we were able to check our bags at the ship when we left, making that a ton easier as well. I don't know if that was by design, or just cheaper, but it worked out well. AND, I ended up loving the balcony room, even though I had serious reservations about its cost.

All in all, although we might not become regular cruisers, your insight was very helpful and made our trip a lot smoother. Thanks a lot! We may decide to try an all-inclusive beach vacation sometime in the next few years. Do you specialize in those as well?

First of all, I would like to say thank you thank you thank you for helping us to plan the vacation of a lifetime! We had such a great time on that cruise! It was everything I thought it would be and more! The islands were beautiful, just like they are in pictures! The staff on the Majesty were very attentive to our needs the whole time and the activities were tons of fun! My husband wants to start planning one for our first anniversary! NCL Cruise to the Hawaiian Islands

The Norwegian Cruise to the Hawaiian Islands was a great way to see everything Hawaii had to offer. Our stateroom was great, the excursions were very fun, and the food was outstanding. We were sad to leave the cruise, but the extra four days you planned in Maui were just as great.

Some of our favorite moments were captured in the following pictures: lava viewing on the Big Island, the Old Lahaina Luau in Maui, sightseeing on the Road to Hana, and the honeymoon party on the cruise boat.

Disney Magic Mediterranean Cruise

Our family Disney cruise trip in Europe was the all out best, beyond our expectations! It was definitely magnificent. Our children and grandchildren were absolutely thrilled to pieces with the entire trip. I think the best part was seeing these wonderful sights through the young people's eyes. There were just a couple of days that we were dragging, like the day we went to Pompeii, then Sorrento and on to Capri where there was a long wait for the ride up the cliff to the village. Everyone perked up at each new wonder though.

Of course, Rome was a high point for all of us. The trip into Rome was ten times better on the train and quicker. We were pleased with our tour and jimmy and family were ecstatic with their VIP tour of the Vatican museum and Sistine chapel. The Disney ship is far and away the best choice for families with young people. Other cruise lines we have taken do not come close.

One of my favorite photos is the one below of the girls in their new French dresses bought in Marseille.

Our trip out to Montserrat from Barcelona was also out standing and the mode of travel quite unique. Shore Trips (a private tour company set up by Memorable Travels) worked out very well and hopefully we'll use them again for future travel.
