Destination Wedding

Vegas was really hot and pretty crowded but there was a lot to see and we could pretty much walk wherever we wanted to go. The room was OK, about the only thing we missed was a little fridge to keep some water cold (we had one in Mexico).

All in All we had a good (hot) time but we are glad to be home in our Kentucky heat. We gambled some, the gambling was good and we managed to keep the house and the cars. We pretty much broke even. The pickup from and back to the airport was timely no problems there. In fact all of the arrangements were easy to deal with.

Thanks a lot for your help and hope you can plan our next trip probably to Dominican Republic (or maybe somewhere else on the beach, that is what we like best).

We had a wonderful time at Montego Bay and Whitehouse. The wedding was perfect and our photographer Natalie was the best! The wedding planners took care of every detail. I was really worried when we first got there but they handled everything and almost knew what I was going to say before the words even came out!

The Mo Bay Resort upgraded our room so our building was overlooking the volleyball court and beach and was very close to the main pool and restaurants. The staff was one of the best parts of the trip! We made great friends with them and have even talked to a few of them since being home--one of the "Playmakers" played his sax for us during our dance and the father/daughter dance, it was awesome!

The restaurants and food were excellent. I just can't say enough great things! I really think one of the most special things was having our friends and family there. We got to go zip lining and do the catamaran to Margaritaville and it was great being able to all hang out for a few days before the wedding. It was also nice that Montego Bay was smaller than Whitehouse so we could all keep in touch very easily.

When Josh and I got to Whitehouse we were amazed at how huge and nice it was! Cafe de' Paris was one of our faves :) We went on the glass bottom boat tour, snorkeling, got an 80 minute couples massage (to die for!), had our special "Weddingmoon" dinner, and took a day trip to Negril. Other than that, most days were spent lounging by the pool. Our room at Whitehouse was literally steps from the beach! We had breakfast outside every morning and it was spectacular!

I honestly can't thank you enough for organizing this trip for all of us. It was very special to us and we will never forget it--I don't think it would have been possible without you! I know I ask A LOT of questions, but you always got back with me right away and nothing was left unanswered. Everyone was extremely pleased with their rooms and accommodations and we are all wanting to go back! The wedding was so beautiful and EXACTLY what we wanted--I wouldn't change a thing. It was perfect.

We had a ball, I am soo grateful to you. I loved everyday more and more!!! We were greeted by such wonderful people that live by the motto " No Pressure, No Problem." We traveled to all the Sandals Resorts, dined and admired the beautiful views. But out of the three, I loved the Regency the most, everyone there knew who we were and treated us like royalty. Everyone knew we were getting married and when, and made each day there more Memorable then we could have ever dreamed.

While there we took advantage of everyday we had on that beautiful beach. We went on a tour on a speed boat and saw one of the oldest villages which consisted of 2000 people, we went through the beautiful rainforest, visited the drive thru volcano and took a mud bath ( it is said to be the best stuff for the skin) "I must say my skin was extra soft and smooth when I rinsed off". We relaxed in a natural hot tub heated by the earth and enriched with the sulfur of the volcano. Then we rinsed off in a beautiful waterfall surrounded by the most unique flowers I have ever seen. We went snorkeling between the two twin mountains and it was simply beautiful. Sorry I forgot the water proof camera but it is an experience I will never forget.

On Friday June 4th, I married the love of my life and it was beautiful. For our first dinner as husband and wife Sandals personalized a menu just for us. Later that day there was a street party and it felt like it was in honor of us (even though that is the normal there every friday). The street party was full of live entertainment, from all kinds of food buffets to dancers, human fire breathing dragons, limbo dancers to really big stilt dancers. It was absolutely wonderful.

Everyone made us feel like family and we will definitely do travel again with the help of Memorable Travels and Sandals. Thank you so much, without you I don't think we could have made the week we spent together in St. Lucia as Memorable as it was and will continue to be remembered.

WEDDINGMOON to California

Our Weddingmoon trip began in Santa Barbara with our wedding and we then traveled up the coast and enjoyed stunning views of the Pacific Ocean as we make our way to San Luis Obispo, Carmel and Monterey, before going inland to Yosemite National Park.

We had a wonderful time....I want to go back. Scott and I were just talking about our 1 year anniversary and how we want to go back to the Hotel Mar Monte and stay. I will send you an email when we are ready to make reservations.

Couples Swept Away, Negril, Jamaica

DESTINATION WEDDING

We loved Jamaica, I am so glad we went there and so glad we stayed at Couples Swept Away. The storm put a damper on our Friday but Saturday morning the sun was back out and we were ready to go. The beach never got quite as beautiful as it was on Wednesday and Thursday before the storm but we didn't care it was still so great! On Monday before we left we got to go snorkeling, do the glass bottom boat and take the Catamaran to Rick's Cafe and swim in caves. The swimming in the caves and snorkeling is up there on the coolest things we have ever done.

For the first time in my life I really really didn't want to come home. Most of the time by the end of the week I am just ready to sleep in my own bed but not this time. I was really sad to get on the shuttle for the airport.

I still haven't quite gotten over being home, I keep looking at the pictures and get depressed that there are people there right now and I am not. Neil and I are torn on whether if we want to go back to Jamaica or try other places. We absolutely loved Jamaica and the people but now we want to see other places. We will definitely be calling you to book another trip. And it definitely will have to be all inclusive because that is the way to go, it was so nice not having to worry about the price and getting to try all kinds of new things!

Our wedding was wonderful. I don't know if I told you we ended up getting married at 10:30 just to move it to as early as possible so the storm wouldn't effect us. Well it was good we moved it to 10:30 because it rained at 11. But the rain was over in just about 10 minutes and the sun came out. Everyone kept saying "don't worry about it mon" the day before when I was worried about the storm, and they were right because it probably would have been better if we got married later on in the day because the rain didn't really get there till late Thursday night. But oh well the pictures were beautiful!

Thanks for everything you did. It will be weird not talking to you everyday but hopefully we will be planning our next trip soon!

The resort was great...we had a really good time there! The people were very friendly and very willing to help you with anything. The room, food, and whole atmosphere was really nice as well as the wedding! There were a few things that turned out differently than we planned, but for the most part they worked in our favor. We thought everything went well and were very happy with the outcome. We were extremely happy with the pictures. The wedding album turned out beautifully.

I really enjoyed the trip. Beaches Sandy Bay was a very pretty resort and all the people were so friendly and nice. The place was very clean, and the beaches were kept up really well. The food was great in all restaurants. We enjoyed the meals and buffets very much. Service very good.

Our room was nice and the balcony very nice as we could see the beach and the courtyard. The drinks were all good and we sure had a few of them. The wedding was really pretty and very special. Everything seemed to go off as planned. But, all in all, it was a very good trip and we really enjoyed it. Teresa and I, for sure, enjoyed the beach and water. I know Lori and Don did too.

Well.. . we had a good time in Jamaica. The wedding was so nice .. Bride was pretty, of course. The weather turned out OK.. "Hurricane Ike" decided to not hit Jamaica.. thank goodness ! We had a lot of wind and rain, the last two days while there but that is all.

The water in Jamaica was really pretty and nice there. We could walk out for long ways.. before it got to our neck... and no big waves. We liked that. It seemed like a hot tub or pool. Naturally the last two days, were different. The people in Jamaica were wonderful to us. They were very friendly.. nice.. and courteous. Food was all good. Flights were good. Had no problems with that. Thanks for everything !!

"Destination Weding" We had a wonderful time at the Sandals Whitehouse European Resort & Spa. We were there for 7 days and never left the resort. There is always something to do or go and see. It was very peaceful and laid back.

Sandals Grand Ocho Rios, Jamaica

We had such a wonderful time at Sandals Ocho Rios on our wedding and it was as beautiful as the pictures. Jamaica is a pristine, gorgeous country with beautiful land and sea-through waters. We learned a lot about Jamaica from our driver and the origination of the people and the cultures that were there. My husband and I were married there and had 14 of our friends and family come to share our wedding with us. We were married on the reef terrace gazebo on a cliff that overlooked the ocean. We had our first dance, father/daughter dance, and mother/son dance, toasts, and tears at the reception. Later we all had a candlelight dinner on the same gazebo with the sound of the waves crashing below us.

My husband and I received hour-long massages on the pier at sunset it felt like a dream. We went snorkeling in the ocean and we were dropped at a 90-foot WWII ship that was sunk at the bottom of the ocean. We choose a set of Platinum china place settings that are simple, elegant, and came in the mail within 6 weeks. They are gorgeous and are about $100 a place setting, if bought in the stores.

It was a beautiful experience that we will never forget and want to go to another Sandals resort sometime soon.

I just wanted to thank you so much for everything that you have done for John and me. Our trip was perfect.

The plane rides were even great-we got a window seat every time! I could not have asked for a more beautiful wedding in a more beautiful place than in Jamaica. Everyone was so nice there, I felt like a movie star that is catered to everyday. The food was outstanding wherever we went. I loved Feathers and the Palms the best because of the atmosphere. We stayed at the Cabana Grill all the time for the jerk chicken and the media noche sandwich.

Our room was gorgeous in a perfect location. We would open the double doors to the veranda and listen to the ocean while having breakfast in bed. It was like a dream in paradise, that is the only way to describe it. The sunsets (like you said) and the
ocean were unforgettable. I loved everything about it.

The wedding arrangements went so smooth too. I loved the basic wedding package so much I didn't want anything extra. It was so pretty. I liked how we had options in everything. I loved my flowers! (too bad I couldn't bring them back though) My wedding was gorgeous. The camera guys were so nice and funny, I really liked Tamika too. Our photographer did an excellent job on the pictures. I loved them!!!!

We got your note in our room! That was really sweet!

Well, I have rambled on so much! I will send some pictures for you to see and share with your clients that want to go there--I highly recommend it! In the future, John and I would like to go back and you will be the first one that I will call to set it up!

Our wedding in Jamaica was everything I had dreamed it would be. The resort was beautiful, the people were incredibly friendly, and we couldn't’t have had a better time. Our trip to Jamaica was a fairytale. It has never been so hard to come back to reality than it was after our trip to Whitehouse. Thank you so much for helping make our wedding dreams come true.
