Sandals Grande St. Lucian

Just wanted to let you know we had a GREAT time in St. Lucia. Sandals was very nice. We got an upgrade to a Presidential Butler suite-which was SOOOOO nice!!! It really made our trip! We loved the pools and the spa. We took 2 tours....although we didn't go with the resort. One was an island tour and the other was zip lining. We went with a guy on the beach named Simon. I had read good things about him on Trip Advisor and his tours were VERY good. His wife even cooked lunch on one of the tours-which Shawn said was the best food he had had. (I didn't eat-I'm pretty picky.)

Sandals Royal Bahamian, Bahamas

Thanks for all you help planning our honeymoon to Sandals Royal Bahamian. The resort was so beautiful. The people at the resort were so helpful when we needed something. Todd's birthday was on Thursday, and I told one of the employees at breakfast. They brought out a plate that had "Happy Birthday" written in chocolate syrup and a muffin. I sent a couple of pictures for the website for you to use. We would highly recommend this for couples.

We appreciate everything you did helping us planning this. I'm so glad you told us about Sandals. It was wonderful.

Sandals Regency, St. Lucia

Thank you so much for helping us plan a perfect honeymoon :)  We had such a wonderful time and look forward to going back in the future.  St. Lucia was so beautiful and the was wonderful!!  We desperately miss our daily cocktails on the beach!!  The island is full of charm and character and the locals are so friendly.

We made a few friends while on the island.  Patrick Paul was our cab driver...he was so great and took us on an all-day tour of the island.  He was so knowledgeable and even bought us our favorite St. Lucian beer (Piton) on the way back to the airport.  Natasha was great too.  She was a waitress at the Arizona Grill at the resort.  She would always greet us with a smile and would help us in any way possible!

We enjoyed a couples massage our last day at the resort and it was the best massage that either one of us has ever had!!!!  Definitely worth the money!  Thank you so much for everything and we look forward to working with you in the near future!!

Sandals Regency St Lucia
Butler Suite

We really had a blast at Sandals Regency La Toc Golf Resort and Spa. The entire experience was more than either of us ever imagined. The view from our room in the butler suites was amazing, the rooms were huge and the entire week was so much fun. Our butler was so nice and did everything we asked him to do, from bringing us room service, which was included in the butler package, to saving our spots by the pool. Everyone on the resort was so friendly!

I will have to say though that my favorite part was the food. Each night we got to choose from the most amazing selections of top notch food. Never in my life have I dined in such beautiful settings. From breakfast overlooking the pool and the bluff to a romantic dinner at Gordon's on the dock overlooking the bay at the Grand.

We had a fantastic time, and we can't wait to go again. To be honest, I didn't want to come home. Thank you for the thoughtful note we received while we were there!! And also thank you so much for all your help in planning this amazing trip for us!!!

TAMARIJN ARUBA

Everything went perfectly with the honeymoon, with one exception, nothing wrong on your end, I just lost my wedding band in the Caribbean! It came off when snorkeling in front of our room. As for the Tamarijn, it was great. Not quite what we expected (we were thinking a bit more upscale) but it turned out for the better anyway. It was relaxing, not stuffy like a more upscale resort would have felt. The wait-staff was great, the food was good, everything that was included in the all-inclusive was well worth it. If we decide to go back to Aruba we would definitely stay at the Tamarijn. Were thinking about trying to stay on Aruba, Curacao and Bonaire all on the same trip.

Sandals, Antigua
WITH A BUTLER!

Antigua was wonderful. The beach at the Sandals Antigua was so beautiful, and the Caribbean water was perfect. The resort itself is an amazing place, very relaxing and the people there are so friendly. Upgrading to the butler service made our honeymoon that much more special. They made everything so easy to do and they went that extra step to make us feel welcome and make our honeymoon very special.

Upgrading to the Butler room really helped make our trip ... beach towels were waiting outside our door every morning, we got a cooler full of beer and water for the beach everyday, they would bring us drinks on the beach just because they thought we might be thirsty, made all of our dinner/activity reservations. They just made it really pleasurable and hassle free.

If you have anyone considering going there we suggest they do so!

Ladera, St. Lucia
(Stayed at two resorts)

"The suites and villas are like luxurious tree houses. The netting draped over your four poster bed is all that separates you from this glorious outside world."

Ladera was a very neat place in many respects. Very small, so very quiet, which we liked for being on a honeymoon. The view was absolutely amazing! The room was kind of cool. It had a neat little waterfall that went into our plunge pool. The amenities were pretty nice; the furniture was comfortable and there was always coffee available. The restaurant was good and the service was great. The beach at Jalousie (nearby) was really nice, and the little wildlife area they have roped off was great for snorkeling.

The rooms were not entirely as isolated as one might hope - while there was no danger of anyone looking in your room, we did on rare occasion hear people in the adjoining rooms. Be aware that moths swarm the lights in the evening. There was insect/frog noise at night, but we didn't mind that. We were glad we stayed here, but also agreed that 2-3 days was the ideal. We would not recommend the all-inclusive plan (for this particular resort). With breakfast being provided and having a light snack in the afternoon, we ate dinner at Dashene and spent less than if we had been all-inclusive.

Rendezvous, St. Lucia

Having the all-inclusive plan here we really enjoyed being able to eat and drink whatever & whenever we wanted and having many activities going on ... or just lying in a beach chair doing nothing. We ended up going tubing a couple of times and took the free scuba diving lesson that came with our package. To me this was the most fun thing we did on the trip. It was absolutely amazing!! I would recommend this to anyone. The staff was very nice and very helpful, and they even tried to learn our names. When we arrived they had covered the bed in flowers and left us a basket of fruit and champagne. The luxury oceanfront rooms were in the best location on the property. The beach area was not totally usable. There were lots of broken shells in the water.

St. Lucia was a very nice place. The scenery is nice and it has the whole laid back feel that you picture most islands having. We would recommend either place that we stayed, especially Ladera for those who would want a more intimate setting. We had a good time and would certainly not rule out return visits.

Tahiti: Intercontinental Tahiti and Moorea

Sorry it has been so long getting back to you since the trip. We've been very busy ever since we've gotten back. Everything went perfect on the trip. All reservations were correct and all transportation was amazingly smooth. It only rained one time during the day for about an hour, and I think it may have rained twice at night for a short time as well. The weather really worked out for us. The extra activities were great, as well as the hotel facilities.

Melia Caribe Tropical, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

Our resort was beautiful and the staff did everything to make sure we were comfortable and had a good time. They don't serve Coke at any of the restaurants but our representative went out of his way and brought back some for me!! The food was wonderful and the scenery left me speechless. We took a few tours around the island and learned a lot about the culture and way of life. The best part was getting the upgrade to the "Royal Service" ...it was awesome!! We plan on going back maybe for our 10 year anniversary!! We'll let you know.
