Swissotel, Chicago, IL
We love you! Not only did you get us a room in a fantastic hotel for a great rate, you got us a room on the very top floor that actually adjoined to the presidential suite. We were joking that it was where Obama's aides stay. We loved it, and what a view!
Thanks so much for the champagne and chocolate covered strawberries too (although Andy didn't get any of the strawberries, ha-ha)! Chicago is such a neat city. We loved the John Hancock Observatory, Navy Pier, Adler Planetarium, the water taxis, the Magnificent Mile, and the food, oh my gosh, the food was heavenly.
Thanks again for yet another wonderful trip!

Leslie and I had a wonderful time in Disney World. The weather was great, the resort was perfect, and it truly was a magical time.
Thank you again for all of your help with planning and scheduling the honeymoon. I will definitely refer anyone that I know looking for assistance with travel plans to you and Memorable Travels. And I hope to work with you again in the future. to schedule future vacations.

Disney World FL
Port Orleans French Quarter Resort
Our trip was FANTASTIC! We had such a good time and even though there was some "liquid sunshine", it didn't stop us from having a blast. The looks on the faces of the children said it all. When Emily was putting Ella to bed Monday night, she just couldn't sleep. She was thinking about when we could go back to Disney World! 'Nuff said!
We did find out that the Magical Express runs 24/7, so Matt was able to just hop on and make it to DW much easier than we had anticipated. We checked our bags and received our boarding passes to return home right in the hotel lobby which was fabulous! We had great service and a magical experience.
The only thing that we didn't completely understand was that our meal plan included enough meals to have had dinner on the plan the first night we arrived. Instead we paid for dinner at Downtown Disney at the Rainforest Cafe, so we had a couple of meals left over when we left. Had we understood that, it would have saved us some money. However, the meal plan was so generous that we feel like we really got our money's worth during the week. The restaurants we chose were wonderful and the food delicious.
Brunch at the Castle was fabulous ...delicious and great service. We all had so much fun! My credit card was credited back for the other reservations and it all went smooth as silk.
Chuck ended up being the other pirate at The Pirate's League, since Morgan didn't want to have make up put on his face. Chuck was hilarious and a great sport. He and Devin had so much fun and received plenty of comments throughout the day. (We were told that the oldest "pirate" to to through the Pirate's League was 94...brave guy!)
So...thank you very much for your help and time. You did a fantastic job! I have a friend who may be calling you about a trip to Europe in the spring. I gave her your info.
We hope to work with you again sometime. In the meantime, God bless and thank you for helping us have a wonderfully "Magical" vacation in Disney World!
The trip was fantastic. Alaska is beautiful, and so diverse. Thank you so much for providing us with another "Memorable Travel". Will try to send more pics later. Some from the Bering Sea tour, which Sheila and I both found to be exceptional.
The attached pics are from the White Summit rail trip and the glaciers. We are part of the 30% who actually saw the top of Mt. McKinley. (the pic with the tree in the middle).
Met some wonderful fellow travelers from Virginia and also from Australia.

RITZ CARLTON SOUTH BEACH
Miami FL
It was pretty neat. South Beach is not a honeymoon location more of a party city! At the Ritz Carlton located at 1 Lincoln Rd we were in walking distance for cafes, clubs, a mall, and restaurants there was also a Walgreens on the corner which was very convenient. We really did not need the rental car because the location had everything. Parking is limited in South beach also but there are parking lots that charge per night or hour as well.
While we were in South Beach we went on a city / boat tour of the area it was really neat the shuttle picked us up at the Ritz and took us to the tour bus and boat. The hotel was very upscale and we had a beautiful view. The hotel only offers valet parking for an additional $39.00 a night.
The food in the area has the local taste. With that said Dave and I ventured down the road to a Carrabas (Italian restaurant that is in Lexington also) and ate there twice it was delicious! We looked for chains only because the local food was not appealing well the taste was just different. Oh but we went to a restaurant called beer and burgers it was a little loud but the food was good. There is parking but it is best to catch a cab there as well as Carrabas.
We also went to a club/bar/grill called Clevelanders on Beach Rd we walked from the hotel it was cool they had a live band and a dance floor on top of the pool. Drinks were somewhat expensive but everything is expensive in Florida. South Beach is really touristy too so that maybe why. We are glad we didn’t make it too the Bahamas because of the hurricanes so Florida worked out well! We will be in touch thanks

Destination Wedding
Vegas was really hot and pretty crowded but there was a lot to see
and we could pretty much walk wherever we wanted to go. The room was
OK, about the only thing we missed was a little fridge to keep some
water cold (we had one in Mexico).
All in All we had a good (hot) time but we are glad to be home in our
Kentucky heat. We gambled some, the gambling was good and we managed
to keep the house and the cars. We pretty much broke even. The pickup from
and back to the airport was timely no problems there. In fact all of the
arrangements were easy to deal with.
Thanks a lot for your help and hope you can plan our next trip probably
to Dominican Republic (or maybe somewhere else on the beach, that is
what we like best).

Aria Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, NV
We had a great time in Vegas and loved the Aria. It was cold, but
we had a great time!.
The room was just as it was shown on the website and there were multiple
restaurants and nightlife options. Not to mention, the mall that is pretty
much attached to the Aria. The tram was also very nice between the Aria
and the Bellagio. We were able to bypass the cold many times by taking
the tram and then walking through the Bellagio.
Thanks again for the suggestion of the Aria. Some friends and I are
hoping to plan an all-inclusive trip sometime in the coming months, so
I'll probably be calling for your services again soon.
You just make
things less stressful.

WEDDINGMOON to California
Our Weddingmoon trip began in Santa Barbara with our wedding
and we then traveled up the coast and enjoyed stunning views of the Pacific
Ocean as we make our way to San Luis Obispo, Carmel and Monterey,
before going inland to Yosemite National Park.
We had a wonderful time....I want to go back. Scott and I were just
talking about our 1 year anniversary and how we want to go back to the
Hotel Mar Monte and stay. I will send you an email when we are ready
to make reservations.
Hope you have had a good summer. Take Care.

Monte Carlo Hotel, Las Vegas, NV
Vegas was WONDERFUL !!!! Our seats for Bette were luxurious, so big,
soft, roll around chairs in a balcony...was great!! All of the shows
were great, "LOVE" was almost more than the senses could
absorb...I think I could see the same show again, and see things that
I missed the first time. We also went to La Cage and loved it as well.
During the day we went to Hoover Dam, Red Rock Canyon and Death Valley.
Between the most beautiful and breath-taking natural scenery and the
lights and glitter of the "Strip", it was a vacation of a lifetime.
We rode "The Deuce" (the 2 story bus) about every day and that
was an experience in and of itself!!! Went to all the major hotels, and
saw the white tigers and the lions at MGM Grand. Gambled some...mostly
the penny slots...but for the amount spent it was so much fun. I won
$29 one night and $30 another night on just a dollar bet. I think everyone
should go to Vegas at least once in their life to get the flavor of something
so different. The variety of people, foods, things to see and the energy
of the whole experience was really something!!
The champagne you sent was excellent...thank you so much. We were
so tired when we got there that we opened it immediately...needless
to say, the rest of the day went really well!!! Thank you so much for
everything...every trip we have arranged with you has been the best.
I think we may try for Alaska next, although I am ready for a warm cruise
again. If I was financially able I would go on a long, wonderful trip
about every 2 months. I am having such FUN!!! Thanks again.

Disney World, Busch Gardens, Florida
Our vacation was wonderful I just wish we could have
stayed another week.
Disney World was so busy. It was nice to experience it, but the next
time I would probably want to return in the winter when it wasn't
so busy. The lines were so long and it was very hot. We only were able
to ride about 4 rides because Kellan, our 1 year old, wouldn’t
sit still long enough to stand in a long line. The fireworks and parade
were really awesome. Lexi, our 9 year old, got her hair done like a
princess that day so she got to go to Disney with her hair all done.
She loved it.
We also went to Busch Gardens and had so much fun. It
was less crowded so we were able to enjoy ourselves a little better.
It was a wonderful vacation. I can’t wait to go back to Florida.
I think we decided when we go back we want to stay in Clearwater. It
is so beautiful there.
Thanks again for setting up
everything it really was wonderful.

Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, NV
Overall we had a great time in Vegas. Mandalay Bay is an amazing
hotel and of all the hotels we went in (Caesars, Bellagio, Excalibur,
and Luxor) Mandalay was easily the nicest one. Our room was sensational
with a 52 inch plasma television on the wall as well as a tv in the
bathroom. Our room faced the Vegas strip which was great; we felt like
we were walking on the strip at times. Mandalay's pool/beach was great.
It had a lazy river, huge wave pool, two-three other pools, and even
a beach casino.
We went to two shows: Celine Dion and "O".
Celine was good, but "O" was incredible; one of the better
shows I have seen ever. Absolutely amazing what they do.
We did a day
tour to the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon. This was an extremely long
day (6am-9pm), but we are both glad we did the tour. The Dam and the
Canyon are absolutely amazing. Something you have to see at least once
in a lifetime.
Our transfers to and from the airport were both on time
and prompt.
Really our only downfall came on the plane ride on the
way home. We flew from Vegas to Houston. Our Houston to Lexington flight
was supposed to depart at 7:05pm. To make a long store short, we didn't
board until about 12:30am. Which put us getting back to our house around
4am. Other than that, the trip was great.
Thanks again for planning
another great trip.

Memorable Travels is a wonderful company to arrange a customized tour.
They were able to secure us the same seat number on both planes flying
from Louisville to Denver and on to Arizona. They did the same on our
returning flights. How reassuring for 2 "Old Grannys."
Special attention included a cell phone call to insure our safe arrival
at the hotel in Louisville which was a quality hotel with a free shuttle
to the airport.
Thanks,

Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon
Thanks for all your work in planning our trip. We enjoyed the
trip, and found many of your suggestions helpful. I felt staying
at he Excalibur helped being closer to the main part of the strip,
but I felt the Stratosphere was a good location at the end of the
trip. It was an easy in and out both from the Grand Canyon and
to the airport.
We, along with one other of the couples, did the scenic drive
you suggested and found many things that kept us busy most of that
day along the way. When you have a group as large as eight, everyone
had different interests and this type of trip met all needs.
Thanks again, and I enjoyed meeting you and your husband. Hopefully,
will use your service again soon.

SPLASH RESORT Panama City FL
Our trip was great. The condo was very nice and it was great having
the beach and the pools just steps apart. We didn't have any of the
issues that I saw other people mention on the internet but I could
see how things could get a little overcrowded in areas. I would only
go there during the 1st of August like we did because during the major
peak season (4th of July time frame?) I could see how overcrowding
would be a problem. There were never any chairs open to sit in the
sun by the pools – people always claimed them well before sun
up but this wasn't that big of a deal for us because we were always
playing in the water with the kids. I just wanted to mention the potential
for these issues but we had a great time and the kids loved the lazy
river and the kids play area with slides, water cannons, fountains,
etc. The play area and 1 other pool were covered so it gave us and
the kids a chance to get out of the sun for a while. I also liked that
the resort was somewhat off the beaten path in Panama City. It is located
down the beach a ways from the hustle and bustle so that was OK with
us.
The one outing we planned to do, which was a Pirate Cruise, got rained
out so most of our time was spent hanging out on the beach and by the
pools…which as I said, is what we wanted to do.
Thanks for all the help,

Alaska
We had a great trip to Alaska.
We saw a wolf chasing a caribou. This was the first time our
wilderness guide had ever seen something like this in all of
his eight years at Denali National Park.
While on the Portage Glacier Cruise we saw a large iceberg
drop into the water. Our guide on the boat said he has
been doing this cruise for 15 years and this was the first
time that he had seen this large of iceberg drop into the water.
We did not get to see Mt. McKinley because it was cloudy
and rainy that day. Our bus driver from the hotel in Anchorage
said he has lived there 17 years and has only seen Mt. McKinley once.
We appreciate your help sending us to this beautiful destination.

We are now back home after enjoying a wonderful week in Orlando, Florida.
We managed to squeeze lots of fun into 5 1/2 days. We went to Universal
Studios, Sea World, Universal Islands of Adventures (2 times) and Cocoa
Beach. The accommodations were great and the parks and beach were so
much fun! We can't wait to plan our next big vacation with you. Thanks
so much for all of your help. Here we come, Hawaii in 2009!
I have attached some pics for you to use if you would like. Thanks

breezed right by about 50 people because we booked through an agent,
we couldn't have been happier! That meant we could start enjoying
our vacation instead of waiting in a hot line for 1 hr or more.

The trip was fantastic!!!! The Polynesian is awesome and
we will probably never stay anywhere else. Having the monorail

we're all brown as biscuits!! We can't thank you enough for
setting up the trip and recommending the Polynesian. It was
well worth the money. We also want to thank you for the coloring
books, the boys loved them!!! We have recommended you to

will definitely use you for future trips. We hope to do Beaches
next year....so keep us in mind. We will make sure to get

We had an outstanding trip!!! Everything was perfect and the
hotel was very nice. It was located in the perfect spot, centrally
located to everything we did. Rooms were nice and clean. They
were very helpful and courteous as well.
I am going to have to fast for about a month because I did nothing
but eat the entire time, all the food was outstanding. The
Circa 1886 restaurant was probably the nicest I have ever dined in
and the food was outstanding.
We did the carriage ride first thing with Palmetto Carriages (I
recommend them). That was helpful because it gave us a
good idea of where we were. After that we walked everywhere
and knew where we were going. We also toured some old homes
like the Nathaniel Russell home which was great. We went to
the Middleton Plantation which was unreal and full of History. Our
last evening around 10:00 we did a Ghost Tour with Bulldog tours
that took us down to a dungeon that was built in the 1700's that
housed Pirates. Very cool. I will say that 3 days was
not enough time but we did not stop. We took about 10 rolls
of film and plus some digital pictures as well. I will send
you some. We also stopped over at the Isle of Palms to see
the Ocean and hang out at a Festival they were having on Saturday
afternoon, that was a lot of fun.
Thanks again for all your help, you are the best.

Breckinridge, CO
Our ski adventure went absolutely great. No problems at
all. I picked Rebecca up at her hotel on Thursday and we
drove straight to Breckenridge from Denver. (a beautiful
drive through the Rockies) We went straight to our hotel. The
hotel was an older hotel but the people were all extremely nice. They
had a great continental breakfast each morning which we loved. It
was about a ten-fifteen minute walk to the slopes, if you had ski
boots on. It would have been better to be directly next to
the slopes, but the price difference in hotels, we didn't think,
would have been worth it. Our hotel was also right beside
the Breckenridge Brewery, a nice restaurant there in Breckenridge.
We skied on Friday and Saturday. With over 150 slopes
just in Breckenridge we skied a lot of different trails. Since
Rebecca and I hadn't been skiing in years, we decided to take
a lesson, which proved to be very beneficial.
Friday night we also took a horse drawn sleigh ride through the
mountains that concluded with a very nice dinner.
Overall Breckenridge is one of the neater towns we have
been to. Great skiing, shopping, and just a neat atmosphere.
Thanks for all of your help again.
We have another big trip planned for June, so I will be in touch.

quiet and beautiful vacation place. Halloween Horror Nights was fun!
We went Wednesday and Thursday night. As you can imagine, most of the
crowd were teenagers and college students but we had fun. We went through
3 of the best haunted houses you could imagine. No expenses were spared
in creating these! Some of the rides were fantastic too. We rode the "Earthquake" and "Twister".
Both simulated being in a natural disaster. I was ready to get a CERT

We just wanted to drop you a little note to say "thanks" for
helping plan our vacation/anniversary celebration. In spite of weeklong
rain and both catching colds we had a really great time. We shopped
in Greenwich, toured a submarine museum in Groton, and visited an aquarium
in Mystic. At the end of our trip we toured Mark Twain's home in Hartford.
The photo of Gina & me was taken at the Inn at Mystic. Humphrey
Bogart & Lauren Bacall honeymooned there 60 years ago. Also, legend
has it that a young Bobby Kennedy caught the bell tower on fire smoking
cigarettes. I think the family was staying there for a wedding shower.
Anyway, thanks again for all your help in arranging airfare, rooms
